Absolutely. Yes. I would love to say I have seen it change the whole world, but what I have seen is it change a whole store. The change happened in about a ten minute span. It felt like a college sociology experiment. We walked into the store and observed from far off the people, all to themselves, seeming depressed and isolated.

Ruthie and I walked through the store with our cart and our smiles on, and the third person we passed engaged us, “Oh my gosh! Where did you get those?” We told them the story about how it was conceived, and then the next person and the next. Pretty soon people were telling us about a video that went viral.

We sold a few masks we had on hand right then and there.

If you aren’t familiar with “The Butterfly Effect”, here it is in a nutshell. On small minuscule action on one side of the world (like the wind from a butterfly flapping its wings) can multiply and change as the effects are felt further and further until it might become a mighty hurricane on the other side of the world.

We know that we can at least change the mood in a store, and we can do it in about 15 minutes. Amazing. I hope you get to try it.
